Not only did Detroit honor the 30th anniversary of the 1984 World Series-winning Tigers team, the current roster made a dramatic comeback over the Oakland A's. The game was tied 1-1 in the eighth inning until the A's scored three runs to take a 4-1 lead. The Tigers clawed their way back in the ninth with the bases loaded and Rajai Davis at bat against Oakland closer Sean Doolittle. Davis took a pitch down the middle and the magical moment below unfolded. ''I can't even remember the last time I did that,'' Davis said. ''It must have been in my dreams, while I was sleeping.'' As Yahoo mentions, the last time the Tigers had a walk-off grand slam was ten years ago, which the '84 World Series team was also being honored for the 20th anniversary. Detroit and Oakland return to Comerica Park tonight at 7:08 p.m.
