Watch Charles Barkley's First Ever Ride on NYC Subway

If you're a basketball fan like us, you enjoy Charles Barkley's commentary on TNT's Inside the NBA program. The hall of famer has been entertaining the masses with his charm and charisma for decades. Surprised New Yorkers found themselves sharing a subway ride with Sir Charles last night (December 5) before the New York Knicks' game against the Brooklyn Nets.

As Deadspin shares, Barkley decided to take the subway train to the Barclays Center as TNT had the unfortunate task of broadcasting the Knicks-Nets game. The former Philadelphia 76ers legend was pretty gracious with passengers and posed for pictures.

One fan asked Barkley who he thought would win the game, whose answer shows he doesn't think highly of either team's season so far. "It don't matter, man," Barkley answered. "Zero plus zero is zero." Ouch.
