The Cavs beat the Pistons 97-96 on Wednesday night in Auburn Hills. Dion Waiters hit a 19-foot jumper at the buzzer, and Cleveland erased a 16-point, fourth-quarter deficit to earn the win. Detroit has lost 11 games this season after taking a lead into the fourth. Josh Smith led the Pistons with 24 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Smith and Andre Drummond both missed the rim on a free throw attempt. Detroit will play host to Miami on Friday.
