Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard has been named to the U.S. Hockey Team for next month's Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The 29-year-old Howard is expected to be the No. 3 goalie behind Buffalo's Ryan Miller and Los Angeles' Jonathan Quick. Miller, Cam Fowler and Ryan Kesler are Michigan natives who made the Team USA squad. Thirteen members of the silver-medal winning team from Vancouver were named to the 25-man roster, including Patrick Kane, Ryan Suter, David Backes, Ryan Callahan and Zach Parise.
