Michigan coach Brady Hoke joined the 'Dan Patrick Show' to talk about the upcoming game against Notre Dame and more.
Dan asked Hoke his opinion on Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly saying Notre Dame-Michigan was just a regional rivalry.
"Everyone's got an opinion," Hoke said. "Some people think I'm skinny. Everyone sees things differently."
Dan asked if he wants to keep the rivalry. "I'd love to," Hoke said. "I think it's good for college football."
Dan asked Hoke to finish this sentence - if Johnny Manziel is your quarterback, then … "If Johnny Manziel is our quarterback, he'd probably be playing behind Devin Gardner," Hoke said.
Hoke looked back on Jadeveon Clowney's hit on Vincent Smith. He is concerned about ejecting players for helmet hits. He likes the safety aspect, but it's hard to call and ejections are pretty serious.
